a day of rain!	Most of the year, Steve does the cooking - but - when I get going - it's quite a show! note the towel thrown on the floor!	pork shoulders boiling... the smell (ugh) says Christmas!	- sausage balls heading for the oven!
a bit of clutter!		by the time it's shredded and soaked in bbq sauce - it tastes SO much better than this looks!	shredding one ham isn't bad - by the time I'm doing #8... it's not so fun!	am ADDICTED to egg nog - think they lace it with crack !!
day #2 cooking - today is broccoli cornbread, vodka cake, rum cake, coconut eggnog poundcake...		parts of the basic food groups - cool whip, cocoa powder and graham crackers!
chicken enchilda casserole - hmm - think it needs more cheese!	enough cheese now?	chocolate eclair cake		how many eggs do I need? five you say - oh I think not - try six !!
coconut eggnog cake	ready for day #3 !	the table - getting ready for set up!	attempt #1 to set up the dessert area - will try at least two more variations! can promise it! not enough room!	setting up the main table - Steve happily at work
ready for another day's cooking	Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding (this one's for you Stuart!) though the doughnuts were from Swiss Donuts	the Jamabalaya in the rice cooker!	OK - I know you're not supposed to peek!	a few shrimp!
chocolate sauce for the chocolate eclair cake!	the kitchen floor clean (for the moment!)	table is almost ready!
there aren't enough bowls of candy about! people might starve!		whoops - can see behind the bookcase! have to fix that!!
currently part of outdoor refrigerated space (nothing like back in Virginia though! don't need to worry about freezing!)	temporary bar location (it's not nearly large enough!)		a bit more cleanup to do!	Smith Island Cake (the official dessert of the State of Maryland) is the only "no-show" at the party. Of course, most people probably would prefer having the cake to a spinach salad, but...
